The power of prayer is one that cannot be denied. From the beginning of time, mankind has prayed for comfort, strength, guidance and many other needs. In today’s world, there are many distractions and challenges that can dampen our faith. This is why it is more important than ever to take the time to pray, especially during the midnight hours when peace and quiet surround us.
God listens
The bible tells us that God listens to every prayer we make. This means that He hears our prayers at every hour of the day or night – whether they are whispered or shouted out loud.
“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” – Jeremiah 29:12 (NIV)
God longs for us to pray earnestly from a sincere heart so He can answer them according to His perfect will.

The midnight hours are typically quieter compared to the hustle and bustle of daytime activities. This makes it an ideal time for self-reflection before God while communicating with Him in prayer.

As believers in Christ Jesus ,we share a common bond like no other family bond. We ought to encourage and strengthen one another through faith while taking time out for midnight prayers individually or as a group.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

During this hour of midnight transcendence before God Almighty; Let Your presence Lord be felt amongst us. Hear our cries and petitions tonight for unity amongst believers, grant that we may encourage each other daily with steadfast faith and abide by Your will. Renew our strength daily like an eagle’s feathers so that we can soar high above every obstacle placed before us. Amen!
